Challenge:
As one of the leading architecture firms on the west coast, Doria Architecture had a simple identity problem — nobody knew who they were. While their work stood on it’s own, the grey logo type that represented the firm didn’t echo their progressive, holistic design philosophy.
Solution:
The new identity, designed to differ from the competition in typestyle, configurations and color, communicates the desired image attributes of the firm such as progressive, partner and enabler, performance-oriented, streamlined, inventive and organic.
Results:
The new branding proved immediately successful in that the identity design was officially accepted and applied throughout the organization. The new identity also solved the original evaluation criteria in that it was distinctive, appropriate and flexible. This identity is one of the most significant corporate identities in the architecture sector.
