Challenge:

Zillah Estate began as a wine producer for several well know brands. After years of producing some of the finest wines under other companies labels, Zillah Estate wanted to launch a new venture: their own private label wines. Initially, Pivotal Internet was brought in to help the company define a sustainable positioning based on the company’s little known history and to eradicate the confusion as to what and who the Zillah Estate brand actually is.

Pivotal Internet provided the company with a number of viable positioning options as well as a plan for implementation. We then developed a new corporate identity, guidelines, extensions and a brand book to successfully convey the attributes of the desired positioning.

The Pivotal Internet solution solidified this established company as a powerful player in both domestic and international wine markets. Zillah’s new brand works in every way at every level of the company to support its position as vintner of some of the best wines in Washington State.
