Challenge:

Since they were founded, PETsMART Charities had always shared the branding with parent company, PETsMART, Inc. A new look for the organization’s materials was needed in an effort to promote the growth and expansion of the non-profit organization dedicated to serving animals in need.
Solution:

The design process began with a consultation with the Charities group to gain a greater understanding of the relationship the organization has with the animals they serve and to truly understand how the organization raised funds for these animals. The focus was then to reflect the input we received by creating a look for a wide variety of print applications that was recognizable, memorable.
Results:

Pivotal Internet developed a versatile, candid portrait of the organization and the animals they strive to protect that was uplifting, visually appealing, and happy yet serious at the same time. The new print collateral broke the mold of the typical, depressing animals in cages look that many animal welfare organizations use and brought these wonderful creatures to the forefront of the cause.
